This home has been commissioned by a home owner in North Carolin for construction in Wyoming.   The Home features numerous passive solar heating and cooling design and construction features including 1) cross ventilation 2) high specific heat flooring for re-radiant heating 3) indirect clear story lighting 4) direct skylight lighting 5) overhang summer shading 5) solar orientation and placement for protection from winter winds and summer heat gain.

The design of this home is a partnership between Architect Steve Johnson, Southern Evergreen, and Michiel VanderSommen, Energy Consultant.
